Job overview Salary -Ksh 20,000 The Finance and Operations Associate will support ongoing routine operations related to the finance and administration of the office in coordination with Head of Operations including day to day management of all finance related tasks such as payments from the clients, statutory compliances, petty cash, management of office with oversight of the office support staff and other administrative and financial matters as assigned from time to time.

Key responsibilities Support the finance department on day-to-day financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate outputs.

Make adjustments as necessary to accommodate changing priorities, meet deadlines, and effectively organize tasks.

Perform monthly invoicing by gathering and compiling payment data, coordinating with the key departments (Business development and HR/Recruitment) on which clients to be invoiced and ensuring invoice payment has been done accordingly in accordance with the payment and billing terms.

Prepare payroll and coordinate with the HR team to ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner.

Filing of statutory payments i.e., NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, VAT, AHL, NITA and making sure the payment has been done on the stipulated time to avoid penalties.

Responsible for ensuring all payroll files are updated monthly and ready for an audit process at all times.

Manage office operations including systems (e.g., telephone, printers), filing, and ordering of office supplies and updating inventory.

Prepare monthly financial reports and regular reconciliation reports.

Keeping records and documenting of financial processes and office administration Manage the company petty cash expenses.

Qualifications and competencies Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.

At least 1+ year Proven work experience in finance and accounting field.

Proficient in accounting and accounting software e.g., quick books.

Good organizational and time management skills Strong team player with solid communication skills.
