This position will be a hybrid between a Medical Assistant; where you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and Front Desk; where you will be responsible for greeting and checking patients in, ensuring accurate collection of patient information and insurance and helping to answer phones as needed scheduling patients and answering patient questions.
What you will do:
Interview patients and document medical history
Manage provider schedule and assist with organizing and scheduling patient appointments
Remove staples and sutures
Apply casts, splints, and durable medical equipment
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Assist during medical examinations and minor procedures
Communicate regularly with patients and a variety of healthcare professionals
Assist with arranging hospital admissions and laboratory services when needed
Assist with producing/distributing correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Assist with medical records by entering patient demographics, accurately and efficiently
