Job Summary:

The Service Technician assists the Director of Coffee by delivering an exceptional customer service experience by providing quality service repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance for White Rhino Coffee Shops, Licensees, Wholesale, and Sales Accounts.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Ability to install various types of equipment in a manner that meets or exceeds requirements, and able to make sound and knowledgeable decisions (i.e., when to replace equipment rather than repair), and order equipment through proper procedures. Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and repairs in an organized and efficient manner, minimizing and/or preventing any interruption of service for the customer. Service invoices by tracking all service activities.

Fosters relationships to ensure the customer is satisfied with White Rhino Coffee’s products and services in a professional manner, including all forms of customer communication and service.

Represent White Rhino Coffee’s professional image by following the dress code policy and maintaining a positive attitude by taking ownership of responsibility and actions.

Maintain up to date product knowledge; be prepared to answer customer questions related to White Rhino Coffee’s products and services. Maintain customer awareness and focus at all times to ensure complete satisfaction with company products and services.

Always be mindful of and adhere to GMP’s, Quality and Food Safety requirements, adhere to all company policies and procedures and guidelines, and follow all company safety procedures.

Job Qualifications:

Must have a strong attention to detail and order.

Must be willing to perform occasional, overnight travel (1-2 nights) as required in support of customer account maintenance, new service installations, training, and other projects.

Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.

Ability to operate basic office equipment: telephone system, desktop computers, fax and copy machines.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

The ability to push, pull and lift equipment up to 150lbs.

Required Education, Certification, or Experience:

2+ years Recent Experience in a Service Technician role.

Experience in the Food & Beverage Services Industry is ideal and highly preferable.

Experience with UpKeep is highly preferred.

Minimum of High School Diploma and/or equivalent (i.e., GED).

Compensation and Benefits:

$20-25 hourly, based on experience.
