Job Description and Qualifications :

The Jazan IGCC is the world’s largest IGCC and ASU facility producing 2100 MMSCFD syngas, 18,000 MT/Day Oxygen and 4 Gigawatts of power. Facilities and assets include residue gasification, acid gas clean up (Rectisol), soot ash recovery, Sulphur recovery (Claus & Scot), combined cycle power plants, materials handling systems, hydrogen recovery, air separation, water utilities systems and wastewater treatment facilities.

Position Description

We have an immediate opening for a Reliability Engineering – Modeling. This position is located at our corporate office in Jazan. This team develops reliability models and to support JIGPC Operations. The successful candidate will lead projects and development work supporting and deploying world-class reliability analysis and technology solutions for JIGPC business. The candidate will be leading development projects to design, develop and test reliability data and analytics solutions and coordinate with outside reliability experts. The candidate will work as part of cross-functional maintenance, engineering, and operation teams developing conceptual and detailed reliability data and analysis solutions. This position requires a broad engineering and reliability data analysis and management background and a deep understanding of reliability data, analytics, and RAM study development. The candidate will be required to guide maintenance and engineering decision via providing RAM simulations and reliability data analysis-based insights.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Learn the existing Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) model working with external data and analytics team.

Carry out reliability data analysis including reliability data survival analysis, RAM simulations to guide maintenance and engineering decisions.

Update and maintain the JIGPC site-wide Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) model.

Guide the maintenance and reliability related engineering decision making by utilizing the site RAM model.

Update the RAM model based on the current JIGPC information. Report any mismatch and identify the necessary steps to mitigate any additional reliability risk.

Work with the site reliability engineers to develop data collection processes and practices.

Develop and own a reliability data collection and analysis work process for all JIGPC.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum, Bachelor of engineering or MS is preferred.

1-5 years of experience in related industry

Track record of successful RAM study development in an engineering environment

Strong knowledge in statistics, survival analysis and, RAM modeling & simulation

Creative & innovative with a positive attitude

Ability to function well in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Able to work within and lead interdisciplinary, global project teams.

Familiarity with reliability data analysis and simulation methods and how to apply them to derive data-driven insight pertaining to operational use-cases.

Statistics – Good applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, maximum likelihood estimators, etc. is a plus.

Strong Math Skills (Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra) - understanding the fundamentals of hazard modeling is important as they form the basis of a lot of reliability modeling techniques.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
