Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Commercial Officer to join our dynamic oncology biotech company. As the CCO, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our organization from a pre-commercial to a fully commercial entity, ensuring the successful launch and commercialization of our innovative oncology products. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong commercial background, a passion for driving growth, and a proven track record in the oncology or biotech industry.

What you'll do:

Design and build the commercial organization:

- Hire key leadership roles within the commercial organization.

- Design the key functional areas within the commercial organization, including sales, marketing, and medical affairs.

Develop and implement commercial strategies:

- Design and execute comprehensive commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and market share for our oncology products.

- Collaborate with the CEO and other executive team members to align commercial strategies with the company's overall vision and objectives.

Lead the sales and marketing functions:

- Oversee the sales and marketing teams, ensuring they operate cohesively to meet the organization's financial and business objectives.

- Establish clear sales targets and KPIs, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support to achieve goals.

Analyze market trends and competitors:

- Stay informed about market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape in the oncology and biotech sectors.

- Leverage data analytics and market research to inform strategic decision-making and optimize commercial strategies.

Foster customer relationships:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the oncology and biotech sectors.

- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by implementing feedback mechanisms and addressing customer needs.

Drive new business opportunities:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and licensing deals in the oncology and biotech sectors.

- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's product and service offerings.

Manage commercial operations:

- Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the commercial function.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry laws and regulations, and ethical business practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

A minimum of 15 years of experience in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a commercial leadership role in the oncology and biotech industry, preferably as a CCO.

Proven track record of driving a biotech, precommercial organization to become a successful commercial entity by driving revenue growth and market share in the oncology or biotech sector.

Strong analytical skills and experience using data analytics and market research to inform decision-making.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with internal and external partners.

Passion for delivering value to customers and a deep understanding of market dynamics in the oncology and biotech sectors.

The salary range is an estimate and may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
