Compensation: $135k-$200k base salary (negotiable based on experience)

Location: This position is onsite in Alexandria, Lynchburg, Richmond, VA; Raleigh, NC; and Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct necessary engineering tasks, including calculations (manual and using structural design software) and analyses, and generate written reports.

Develop project drawings and specifications.

Coordinate and communicate structural project activities with other design disciplines.

Provide technical guidance to junior staff in structural design.

Support Business Development by drafting proposals and determining structural task requirements for projects.

Review requests for information during construction phases, along with field testing results and material compositions.

Conduct site visits at existing facilities and ongoing construction projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

Over a decade of advancing design experience focusing on steel and concrete structures

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering (with a Structural concentration) or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

Professional Engineer (PE) registration at the job location, or eligibility for reciprocity within 3 months

Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software

Proficient in structural analysis software including RAM Structural System, RISA, and RAM Concept
