Specific Responsibilities include: To assist Sales Office in day-to-day activities, providing a high level of customer service to meet our customers’ needs· JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily Promote high level of customer service at all times Main contact for customers on day to day business Receive and process customer orders ensuring accuracy with pricing and quantities Communicate orders / changes to production / shipping staff Enter inventory and sales projections with accuracy.

Track customer weekly retail advertised prices and volume.

Prepare and distribute customer price lists on a weekly basis, or as required.

Maintaining excel spreadsheets and weekly reporting.

Monitor and investigate accounts receivable discrepancies (claims / refusals) and provide summary updates to Manager.

Assist with the morning production meeting as assigned.

Communicate and interact in a professional manner with co-workers, growers and customers Occasional weekend coverage via email when needing to answer questions.

Other duties as assigned, including coverage of the other Sales Administrator for sick or vacation time.

Sales Orders Receive and process sales orders via phone, fax, email, and EDI (electronically) Send order confirmations to customers on a timely basis.

Coordinate delivery arrangements with Shipping where required to ensure on time deliveries Verify invoice pricing and quantity information if needed.

Maintain good communication channels – internally with your team and or externally with customers with product shortages or issues.

Health and Safety: Demonstrate commitment to health and safety Become familiar/participate in the health and safety program Comply with safe work procedures established by the Co-operative Completion of high school, some vocational or post-secondary training preferred Employment requirements: Two years related administrative experience in an office environment.

Computer proficiency including standard software such as Outlook, Microsoft Office Excel and Word, EDI experience an asset.

This position is temporary for 18 months with the possibility of becoming permanent.
