Objectives of the Position

Our 6 months Internship program will provide you insights of various activities that take place in the BASF Service Hub Kuala Lumpur

Provide support to a range of processes and programs

Offer day-to-day support to assist in seeking for vendors for company discount programs, negotiation process and sealing deals

Participate process improvements, automation, and digitalization measures to offer best service delivery experience

Main Tasks

Seek and reach out to potential vendors/service providers that offer product/services that align with company values as well as employee needs/interests

Document discussion, negotiation, and agreement with vendor

Facilitate communication between vendor and tax, finance & legal to ensure contract compliance

Engage with vendors to communicate alternative or additional terms to align with long term administrative capacity and company policy and process

Work closely with other teams to ensure activities are completed accurately and timely

Job Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or in a comparable field

Able to commit 6 months full-time internship

Strong people skills and influential abilities

Service mindset with strong interpersonal and communications skills

Functional knowledge and skills in using Microsoft application i.e. Words, Excel, Power Point

Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Good learning aptitude, a positive attitude, and a growth mindset
