Commercial Account Executive

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to manage complex multi-line insurance accounts for a national insurance brokerage. This position will have an experienced account manager and assistant supporting daily servicing.

Location: Santa Ana, California (Remote / Hybrid)

Compensation and Benefits:

Base Salary: $165,000 - $200,000

Responsibilities:

Supervises and directs the servicing of large accounts and oversees the daily account management activities of Account Managers and support team.

Negotiates terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.

Acts as a senior liaison between carriers and clients, facilitating complex requests and needs.

Collaborates with the Claims Department on relevant claims for assigned clients.

Expertise in handling multi-line accounts with complex coverages, including retrospective rating plans for large lines of coverages and foreign packages. Maintains a follow-up diary system to ensure compliance with policy requests, endorsements, and other information.

Builds and maintains strong relationships through regular contact and client visits.

Keeps clients informed of industry trends, regulatory issues, and other relevant events.

Education and Experience:

BA/BS degree preferred.

7+ years of commercial insurance experience managing middle market to large accounts.
