Field Service Tech

Job Description

We are a well-established, growing company at the forefront of clean power, urgently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Install, test, repair, inspect, and maintain industrial instrumentation, including metering and recording instruments, controlling devices, data logging and display equipment, communications equipment, and telemetry systems.

Work under the supervision of the Senior Controls Specialist and guidance from the Lead Instrumentation Technician.

Collaborate with electricians and process control operators to diagnose and assist with various instrumentation and control processes.

Provide maintenance support for uninterrupted operation of essential instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience with PLC, SCADA, OIT, Radio Telemetry Systems, OPC, SQL, and Microsoft Operating Systems.

Experience in midstream natural gas transmission networks, particularly with pressure regulating and/or compression sites.

Ability to read P&ID diagrams for various systems and understand the workings of standard process equipment.

Willingness to work occasional off-hours and in confined or hazardous locations, such as chemical, power, water, and sewer plants.
