Vibranalysis is a leader in geotechnical monitoring, concrete testing, special inspections, and drilling services. For over 37 years, we’ve helped our clients efficiently and safely monitor and document construction of civil and commercial development. We are currently seeking an experienced IT support professional to ensure proper operation and uptime of IT infrastructure, software, and consistent data delivery, monitor and troubleshoot construction telemetry equipment.

Objectives of this role
Primary role is to provide IT support and administration for the organization. In addition, maintaining and managing the IT infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime.
Provide technical leadership and support for all Geotechnical Internet connected devices and to ensure near real-time delivery of data generated.
Initial configuration and deployment of all Geotechnical Internet connected devices in accordance with project specifications.
Responsible for verifying backups and archiving of data.
Projected Work Time Allocation

Responsibilities
IT Support, Maintenance, and Monitoring
IT support relating to core business applications.
Perform all assigned support tickets, document all work, and communications in IT Services ticketing system.
IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications, as well as virtual environments, VMware, and storage systems, backup servers, and online cloud services.
Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN and Terminal Services.
Responsible for selecting technology based on documented standards and executing purchases.
Primary administrator for infrastructure services and third-party core applications: Active Directory, Google, MS Teams, etc.
Escalate service or project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels.
Onboard and offboard employees with all technical assets (computer setup and configuration, email configuration, mobile phone configuration, application deployment, etc.)
Monitor, maintain, and modify FTP server configurations and python automation scripts.
Geotechnical Deployment & Support
Setup Geotechnical equipment according to manufacturer directions and company standards. Requires the ability to configure IOT modems,
Monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting Geotechnical devices in the field by working directly with onsite field technicians and remote network tools.
Configuration, monitoring, and support of all internal infrastructure software responsible for moving and automating data between systems.
Monitoring and maintenance of Geotechnical Cloud services and devices.
Third-Party Technology Vendor
Responsible for vetting technology partners to ensure they align with the organization’s technology and business strategies.
Responsible for onboarding new technology vendors, capturing all information in the IT documentation system, and managing relationships.
Responsible for participating in third-party training and learning how to support the systems.
Responsible for technology onboarding and training of new employees.
Management of third-party technology accounts, support, and billing.
Misc. Responsibilities
From time to time, you will be assigned additional work by management.
From time to time after hours, overnight, or we can work maybe required during scheduled project work.
Be able to work in both team settings and independently to complete the assignment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven track record of providing IT support for a Microsoft network.
A good understanding of computer networking, OSI model, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Ability to run CLI tools and applications to troubleshoot server and network device issues.
Ability to automate IT tasks through scripting (Python, PowerShell)
Proficient in python or other scripting language that supports automating tasks and data flow.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments and field techs.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
Excellent interpersonal skills
High fluency with computers and software
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Professional IT Certifications, Microsoft, Network+, etc.
Strong Proficiency in: Microsoft Windows Desktop, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office 365 Features
Understanding of API’s
Construction and/or Geotechnical industry experience a big benefit
Equipment installation experience a benefit
Low voltage cabling experience a benefit
Electronics experience a benefit
Soldering experience a plus
Office hours are 7am to 4pm. The office is located in the Mott Haven area of the Bronx, conveniently located by the 6 train. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Company Description
