Job Description

Metro Prep High School, Grade School and Laureate Day School have been educating and supporting students with special needs for over 25 years supported by FGC. Using a multidisciplinary approach, Metro Prep and Laureate Day School provides educational and therapeutic learning opportunities in a small, nurturing environment. This allows our staff to tailor each student’s program to meet his or her individual needs.

Essential Duties:

Develop curriculum to meet each student’s individual needs as indicated on the IEP

To maintain an IEP for each student and update the IEP quarterly and for the student's annual review by using collected data

Collaborate with teachers and staff.

To completes an educational summary for each student quarterly and upon completion dismissal of the program.

To perform upkeep of classroom maintenance/organization, classroom rules (posted), point sheets (if applicable), peer review, etc.

To assist staff in crisis intervention and physical management as needed.

Regular School Year Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00a - 3:30p)

Summer School Session: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri (8:00a - 12:30p); Wed (8:00a - 3:30p)
