Job Summary: Responsible to safely pick up and deliver goods to varying locations using industrial truck.

Essential Functions include:

Safely operate industrial trucks to deliver and pick up loads

Use lifting devices to load and unload industrial truck

Examine packages, materials, or products visually or with hands, to ensure conformance to established standards

Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment

Assist with the preparation of finished goods for shipment

Perform general warehouse duties including but not limited to cleaning, moving and locating raw materials and packaging supplies, shipping, and receiving

Comply with the Company SOP’s

Provide information or indication of problems to management or Quality Assurance

Maintain work area clean and organized

Reports to work regularly and on time

Perform duties safely and to report unsafe conditions or actions

Assists in other duties as needed and directed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Current Operator driver’s license in good standing

Ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification

Language Skills – Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and hold conversations in English

Ability to obtain forklift certifications applicable to the equipment being operated

Education and Experience:

Should be quality oriented and demonstrate attention to detail

Should have problem sensitivity and information ordering skills

Knowledge of food production and processing, customer service, public safety, and security

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Must frequently lift 50 lbs. or move up to 100 lbs. using pallet jacks

Regularly required to stand, walk, pull, and lift. Frequently required to work elevated above the ground
