We are currently looking to add a Linux Systems Administrator to our IT Infrastructure & Security team. This is an in-office role, and will be located in London, Ontario.

As the Linux Systems Administrator, you will be responsible to ensure our systems and applications function efficiently and seamlessly. With a strong focus on improving and automating you will maintain the Bank’s IT infrastructure working closely with key stakeholders on the IT team.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot systems

Monitor system/network performance and ensure high availability and reliability

Implement security best practices and perform regular system updates and patches

Automate IT operations and processes

Manage user permissions and access controls

Create and maintain technical documentation for systems configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

Collaborate with other teams to optimize system performance and resolve issues promptly

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

5 years of hands-on experience as a systems administrator

Post Secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience

Advanced experience and a deep understanding of Linux internals

Experience and strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols

Experience writing code using modern programming / scripting languages.

Excellent analytical skills and a creative approach to problem solving

Ability and willingness to learn and upgrade technical skills

Understanding of compliance frameworks is an asset
