This position is a work from home role with a requirement to attend meetings at our Head Office on an as needed basis. Our Head Office is located at 44 Kodiak Cres. in Toronto - we have free parking onsite and we are transit accessible.

Position Overview:

The Digital Coordinator supports the DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse and The Shoe Co. retail brand businesses in Canada, playing a support role in the planning process for both brands. More specifically, this role:

Supports leadership with coordination of planning workflows, updating marketing campaign planning documents and tools, cascading plans to relevant teams.

Partners with analytics and customer insights teams to integrate path to product optimizations into the seasonal website plans.

Responsibilities include:

Work with the marketing team to develop and maintain the seasonal marketing calendars. Manage updates and communication of the changes.

Oversee workback schedules and lead cross functional teams with required communications to maintain desired business timelines.

Build and maintain website plans based on merchandising and marketing direction. Navigation and taxonomy updates, shops, category and landing page layouts.

Contribute to customer experience journey mapping activities with the goal of improving conversion rates and engagement.

Maintains understanding of marketing and digital team bandwidth in context of volume of required in market activities at a given time.

Collaborate with analytics and marketing partners to compile hindsight reporting post campaigns.

Support marketing team with coordination of planning of photoshoots and in store brand activation events,

Liaises with Designer Brands Inc. US counterparts to sync up on strategic planning processes, timelines, and overall best practices

Requirements:

3+ years’ experience preferably in retail and ecommerce

A degree in marketing & brand management (or similar)

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of retail functions, including social media, communications, graphic design, ecommerce web sites and digital marketing channels

Experience in managing external agency/vendor partners and internal cross-functional team members

Passion, self-starter, quick learner, self-initiative, and proactivity, “roll-up your sleeves” mindset

Team leadership and orientation, personable and presentable

Strong administration, project management, time management, and organizational skills

Great communication and presentation skills

High computer proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
