Job Purpose
The Service Technician is responsible for the repair and support of lighting equipment as well as Quality Control for all lighting inventory
Key Success Factors
A successful Service Technician will combine technical skills with customer service and time management. Finding efficient solutions to customers’ equipment issues and eliminating defective equipment from inventory are foundational responsibilities for this role. Maintaining a quick turnaround on repairs and maximizing the availability of tested inventory are the primary success factors for this role.

Equipment repair & support
Quality Control
1. Equipment repair & support by:
Diagnose and Repair electronic, electrical, or mechanical faults with lighting, control, and Special FX equipment for all supported brands
Follow service standards regarding service timeline and output quality
Submit Parts and Supplies requisitions through Purchasing
Provide phone support for clients with defective gear and recommend solutions
Track service status through the ERP system (NetSuite)
Maintain a clean and organized work area
2. Quality Control by:
Test all inbound equipment via the Quality Control process to ensure the defective product is not released on orders
Test returning demo equipment and provide any repairs or maintenance required before being made available again
Repair and record any defective equipment in addition to inventory
