APAC Social Media and Communications Specialist (6 month contract)

Location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8

Reporting to: Regional Head of Communications, Taste & Wellbeing

As a Social Media and Communications Specialist for Taste & Wellbeing (T&W), you will engage employees on the regional strategy and priorities and raise Givaudan’s profile through external communications activities. Reporting to the Regional Communications Head, you will coordinate and implement different internal and external T&W communications activities in the region.

In this exciting role, your main responsibilities will be the following:

Social Media and External communications:

Manage the daily creation of the digital and external PR communications plan. This includes developing the content strategy for social media platforms across Asia Pacific, developing lead generation activities through these platforms, creating news releases and other communications, managing external events, coordinating media and social media monitoring, drafting communications plans for regional projects and working with external agencies

Internal and Operations communications:

Coordinate and execute activities such as town halls, breakfast meetings and webinars and supporting internal content development, including presentations, newsletters, video scripts and success stories

Event Management (online and offline):

Lead the coordination and execution for events, and managing communication activities related to them

You will also develop social media posts for awareness and lead generation around events, and measure success using the appropriate measurement tools

Your professional profile includes:

Minimum 5-6 years of experience in communications or marketing, spanning from developing strategies to building them with an understanding of the digital environment and social media channels, and collaboration with agencies

Proficiency in professional English writing and creative skills, with a focus on copywriting for press releases, campaign content, web, blogs, and social media platform

Project management skills and ability to work with multiple partners, in cross-functional and multinational environments across different markets

Qualifications:

Any field of study is acceptable, but preferably a diploma/degree in Communication, Business Marketing or Journalism

Experience with Google Ads Platform, LinkedIn, Twitter/Facebook/Instagram/, content syndication and data enrichment vendors
