Position Title: Volumetric Concrete Truck Operator/Laborer

Reports To: Project Manager

Department: Concrete Construction

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Location: Detroit, Michigan

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Concrete Truck Operator/Laborer to join our team! As an operator/laborer you will be responsible for loading and driving the concrete truck to multiple job sites, as well as assisting the foreman and team with general laborer tasks.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Preparing, loading, and transporting material to and from job sites; following all DOT requirements and regulations.

· Organize logs of completed work, and mix designs used

· Perform preventative cleaning and maintenance checks on concrete truck

· Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations

· Communicate efficiently with supervisors and the foreman on the job site

· Assist team with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

· One to three years of concrete experience preferred, but not required

· Valid CDL-B with Tankers Endorsement, Truck Driving experience required

· Satisfactory driving record (MVR check will be conducted prior to hire)

· Ability to lift 50 pounds, squat and stand for long periods of time

· Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screens in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations

· Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening

· Ability to be a team player

· Willing to work overtime and weekends, and work in all weather conditions

Compensation:

· Compensation ranges between $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience
