Opportunity: One of our Manufacturing Industry clients based out in Cambridge, ON is looking for a "Electrical Assembler" for a fulltime opportunity.

Job Description:

As an Electrical Assembler, you will fit, assemble, and wire components according to blueprints, manuals, and engineering memos to assemble premium quality, purpose-built electrical panels.

What will you do?

Perform assembly activities as outlined in provided work documents.

Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.

Lay out components and wire electrical panels as per schematics.

Follows all applicable safety procedures and practice safe work habits.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Identify non-conforming components.

Initiate continuous improvement activities in own area and support continuous improvement activities of all employees.

Perform other job activities as required.

Skills & Experience

Minimum High School Diploma

Relevant College diploma/certificate or Skill Trade preferred.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Previous experience with wiring and electrical panel building an asset.

Proven mechanical aptitude.

1 to 2 years relevant manufacturing experience preferred.

Mechanically inclined and familiar with hand tools

Ability to communicate and interact effectively.

Ability to work equally well as part of an assembly team or individually.

Organized with attention to detail.

Process focused with a continuous improvement mindset.

Works collaboratively across the business for maximum impact
