California Closets is a high-volume, highly successful custom furniture manufacturer located in Hawthorne, New York. Do you have a PASSION for INSTALLATION OF CUSTOM STORAGE SOLUTIONS? Are you ready to DESIGN BETTER LIVES? If so, join our Installation Team. Specifically, we are looking for Installation Apprentices who can learn and ADVANCE into the Senior Installation position.
Compensation: $12 - $18 per hour DOE
Qualifications:
Apprentices for California Closets Installation team will help to deliver and install custom closet systems, wall units, entertainment centers, garages units, home office. Additionally, they should have:
-Some experience working with tools or working in the trades.
-Background with carpentry, a trade, or experience installing products such as: closets,
cabinets, mill work.
-Our installations are high end and require precision. The Installer is required to work with his/her team to ensure effective completion of installation
-You must present a professional image of the company. Must be neat, punctual, reliable, people person.
-Criminal background check and DMV check applies to all applicants. Basic requirements include valid driver’s license (a couple of points are OK, DUI/DWI is not acceptable), own tools, reliable transportation to and from our Hawthorne NY location (from Hawthorne location company vehicle is used) and a great work ethic.
*This is a physically demanding, fast paced position. Position requires ability to lift/carry in excess of 50 lbs throughout the workday. Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling while working with material/tools is also required. If you are a hardworking energetic person who enjoys working with people and takes pride in the work you do, this may be the position for you. Only looking to hire full time employees, not interested in part time or sub-contractors.
