Financial Controller - Planning and reporting

We are a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka, and looking for a Financial Controller for a reputed manufacturing PLC in Colombo. Below is the summery of the Job Decription.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial planning strategies to support the company's growth and profitability

Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets in a timely and accurate manner

Provide guidance and support to the management team on financial decisions

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement

Lead the financial planning and analysis process

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional qualification such as CA

Strong understanding of financial reporting for PLC's

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective presentation and interpersonal abilities is a must

Desired Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and reporting at Manageriel level

Experience in a PLC is a plus in areas such as Tax, month end closure and budgeting.

Knowledge of Sri Lankan accounting standards and tax regulations
