Job Description
SAP-Business Systems Analyst
TEL Manufacturing and Engineering of America, Inc. (TMEA) is a Tokyo Electron subsidiary in the U.S. We design and manufacture cutting-edge products that are used globally in the electronics industry. A successful Business Systems Analyst will combine their education and experience to drive SAP continuous improvement, engaging in master data maintenance and improving organizational efficiency. Candidate must be willing and able to learn new functionality, grow with the position requirements and be an integral team member. The successful candidate must be able to analyze and document business flows from end to end.
Responsibilities:
Serve as SAP subject matter expert
Interface with business process owners to facilitate process improvement through enhanced SAP utilization
Drive process improvement, excellence, and data quality
Manage performance metrics in support or creation of KPI’s
Primary point of contact between the business and IT for SAP related issues
Accountable for SAP ERQ testing when changes are implemented
Establish standardized processes and procedures to manage SAP BKM
Understand customer needs and quantify appropriate actions
Operate in close partnership with, and provide updates to the supply chain team
Conduct SAP training/coaching as required
Apply lessons-learned to develop and implement process creation and improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree with 5 years of related experience
Working knowledge with SAP ECC or S4 with 10 years of related experience, in lieu of degree.
Working knowledge with Windchill (or similar PDM system)
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite software
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor degree with 3 years of related experience
Experience in Materials Management, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Material Requirements Planning, Bill of Materials, Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality, Export Control, and Finance.
Strong desire to solve problems and develop solutions
Strong working knowledge of master data requirements
Understand the integration points between sales, planning, manufacturing, and logistics
Strong written and verbal communication skills including a demonstrated ability to clearly provide written reports that identify and quantify risk as well as present sound solutions
Able to work independently with little direction/supervision
Strong interpersonal skills with high attention to detail and organization
Active participant in functional and technical discussions
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at a high-level of professionalism
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with NIS and SAP Ariba
Previous experience in Manufacturing, preferably with capital equipment
Highly Desirable Skills
S/4 System implementation experience
Ability to read and understand ABAP to expedite problem analysis
Ability to understand/work with interfaces to non-SAP systems
Project management knowledge
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
