The Reporting & Analytics Analyst is responsible for delivering reporting and value added data insights and analysis related to the Global Business Services (GBS) Control North America teams. Key responsibilities include support of process/reporting automation and governance, developing data visualizations to support metrics and KPIs, and providing scalable, sustainable reporting solutions.

The position is also responsible for helping teams to address performance gaps and opportunities through various technology/reporting options, and will perform ad hoc analyses that facilitates problem-solving to support sound decision-making by the GBS Control teams. This position will interact with various teams across PepsiCo who provide both upstream and downstream data for reporting deliverables.

Responsibilities

Develop a GBS Control reporting roadmap and enhanced governance process, partnering with IT, Finance and various data partners, to support sustainability with S/4Hana deployments and stabilization

Partner with 3rd parties and GBS Control North America to ensure day-to-day reporting is available to manage deliverables and expectations

Bridge gaps between legacy reporting to new reporting options and functionalities to enable proactive monitoring of data, expand reporting for S4, harmonize and simplify for one source of truth and reduce non-value added reports

Explore data, leverage reporting tools (Ehana, Datalake, Webi, Ehana, Power BI, Alteryx, Gen AI), or enhance applications to transform.

Use in-depth knowledge and expertise with various querying and reporting tools (Webi, Celonis, SQL, Teradata,) and languages to mine, consolidate, and analyze data for ad hoc requests and research assignments.

Deliver periodic reports, maintain reporting solutions (macros, BW, RPA), and support legal and audit requests.

Support teams in providing period/quarterly scorecards and metrics and analyze business performance to proactively identify risks/opportunities.

Optimize or automate processes by developing solutions or collaborating across teams.

Research, analyze and explain transactional exceptions, patterns, and impacts relative to Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Accounts Payable, T&E, and Payroll functions.

Ensure all processes operate within a well-controlled environment, including compliance with data security and access policies, systems security and access policies, and process controls.

Support the execution and verification of key operating and SOX controls.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,300 - $111,000 based on a full-time schedule.

Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.

Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.

Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Degree in related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, etc)

At least 4 years of relevant business experience and practical exposure in some of the following roles: automation development, backend reporting development, data mining and root cause analysis, summary, and interpretation of financial data

Critically analyze problems, evaluate options, and implement change

Proficient in Microsoft solutions (Excel, Office, SharePoint, Power Automate)

Strong analytical skills with high attention to quality and detail

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)

Preferred Job Qualifications

Cross-functional reporting experience

Familiarity with LSS methodology

ERP system reporting experience, preferably in both S4 HANA and SAP

Self-motivated and willing to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment

Team orientation and positive attitude

Technical aptitude to learn new reporting and analytics options quickly

Strong facilitation/presentation skills
