Job Description:
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Service Account Executive is an exempt employee who sells sign and lighting service and repair solutions and service agreements to prospects and customers in all verticals. Sales targets are both new and existing customers. Contacts are typically initiated on a foundation of observable, documented, customer need (patrols).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete onboarding and training requirements, including presentation to management and oral discussion with management of all relevant products and associated services.
Pursue and complete relevant industry certifications as required.
Meet minimum daily activity and productivity targets.
As product, service, and sales competencies are developed and demonstrated, pursue increasingly complex sales opportunities independently.
Some joint selling is typical to promote training and development of essential industry knowledge and skills.
Develop a portfolio of existing and new customer accounts.
As your account portfolio grows and project complexity increases, perform customer visits to service accounts and develop additional opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members and leaders on job and account strategies and tactics. Cross-functional teams include sales team peers, operations, administration, patrol, and the custom sign team.
Sales opportunities may include:
Repair or replacement of face, neon, lamp, transformer, ballast, socket, wiring, time clock
Consult/troubleshoot/repair of electronic displays
Repair of electrical components
Repair of sheet metal components
Repair/replacement of flag poles
Repair/replacement of base/light poles
Replace light fixtures and/or components
Repaint cabinet/pole
Graffiti removal
Signage removal
Cleaning
Replacement of existing vinyl
Panel changes
Crane lift services
Installation of specialty and custom lights and lighting systems
Installation of energy-efficient lighting solutions/retrofits and management controls
Installation of solar power or retrofits
Supply and install banners
Supply and install faces
Maintenance agreements
Media Services agreements
IT issues related to EMS networking
