Exciting opportunity for a Controller to join an established and growing manufacturing company in the Hamilton area! Reporting to the President, the Controller will lead a small team and manage the overall financial operations of the Company by providing timely and accurate information including financial reports, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. This is an in-office position, working collaboratively as a key member of the leadership group!

Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting and analysis

Analyze production costs and efficiencies, recommending changes as necessary

Lead the preparation and analysis of the annual budget, capital budgeting and annual/monthly forecast

Leverage technology and other tools to build simple and effective reporting to support business decisions

Maintain and develop financial systems, processes and procedures

Create and review analysis and reports of financial and operating data

Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Corporate Governance and Compliance including GST/HST, corporate taxes etc.

Act as primary liaison for external auditors, providing accurate and timely financial information

Provide coaching and direction to a small team

Additional duties as required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting and CPA designation is required

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing setting

Proven experience effectively leading a small team

Strong system skills are essential for success in this position; hands-on experience with QuickBooks is an asset

This position requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

This is an IN-OFFICE position, working collaboratively as a key member of the management team
