This is a temporary position with an expected duration not to exceed (10) months. This position is within a unionized bargaining unit and union membership will be required.

Position Summary:

The Production Trainee, Hustle Stats, will work closely with the Basketball Strategy and Analytics and the Basketball Operations Departments by watching games in real-time and flagging operational situations for review by Basketball Operations and Referee Operations officials. The position may also perform other video and content-related work, as directed.

Major Responsibilities:

Monitor live games and report all Basketball Operations incidents in real-time

Identify and tag hustle stats during live games for publication and team distribution

Required Skills/Knowledge:

Superior level of basketball knowledge

Strong computer and technical skills

Excellent communication skills and active listening skills

Precise and detail-oriented approach to all tasks

Experience playing, coaching, and/or officiating basketball

Basketball video analysis

Must display a passion for the game of basketball

Advanced spreadsheet experience (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) is a plus

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Salary Range: $21.77/hr
