3rd Shift - Process/Mold Set-up Technician

Job Description

High-volume, well-established custom injection molding company is currently seeking an experienced Process/Mold set-up technician for it's 3rd shift.

Essential Duties:

Does start-ups and overseeing of production on injection molding machines. Troubleshoots process. Performs job sets-ups and programs robots. Oversees the set-up of molding auxiliary equipment. Component changeover. Ensures that shift production records and foreman's daily reports are prepared and are accurate. Troubleshoots and determines necessary machine or mold adjustments and corrections. Ensures necessary materials for scheduled jobs are available/ provided. Ensures that company management policies/procedures are followed. Interacts with company management, lead person, maintenance mechanics, quality control personnel, material handlers, shift supervisors, production control personnel, mold set-up technicians, mold makers.

Assists with mold and work cell setups when needed per Mold Set-Up Technician Job Description.

Able to work weekends and overtime, as needed. Works under supervision of Shift Supervisor.

Experience: Injection molding mold setup experience minimum 2 years, Injection molding process experience minimum 1 year.Company Description
