Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Financial Reports:

Compile accurate and timely financial reports, including Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Statements, and other relevant documents.

Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to predict future outcomes and provide actionable insights.

Financial Analysis and Advice:

Examine financial data to identify patterns and trends, providing insights and recommendations for resource utilization, tax strategies, and budget assumptions.

Record Transactions:

Compile, analyze, and enter asset, liability, and capital account entries into the accounting system.

Document all financial transactions accurately to maintain a clear and transparent record of the organization's financial activities.

Policy and Procedure Maintenance:

Recommend modifications to accounting systems and adhere to generally accepted accounting practices.

Strengthen internal controls by developing and documenting business processes to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

Technical Skills:

Apply familiarity with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures to effectively execute job responsibilities.

Rely on experience and judgment to achieve goals and resolve complex accounting issues.

Collaboration and Communication:

Coordinate activities with Company Chartered Accountants, Clients, and Management as required to discharge job duties effectively.

Audits and Compliance:

Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes to facilitate accurate financial reporting.

Financial Forecasting and Risk Analysis:

Participate in setting financial standards and forecasting processes to support decision-making.

Provide input into departmental goal-setting processes based on risk analysis and financial projections.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and accounting software like Tally & Microbrain.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements accurately and timely.
