Role- Designer HFC (Hybrid Fiber Co-axaial)

Experience-4-6 yrs

Required Technical Skill Set- Wireline Network Plan & Design

Location of Requirement- Chennai

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

a. Good understanding of plan & design of wire line network -HFC

b. Responsible for HFC Plan & Design, Field Survey, Plan implementation & End to End

project activity

c. Responsible for Plan & Design activity including project documentation of HFC

Network.

d. Good understanding e2e process for as-built activity

e. Expertise in Telecom Network Plan & Design, Implementation and Network Assurance

f. Expertise in End to End process for permit & permission from Local municipal council

g. Participate and contribute in project meetings, both Internal and external

h. Actively support the entire organization to Improve IT-tools (Jira, Jile, Appian etc) and

processes being used.

i. Problem solving mentality with a can-do attitude.

j. Experience from Outside Plant (OSP) & Inside plant (ISP) Telecoms

k. Experience in CAD design tools such as QGIS/ Google Earth/ SpatialNet/ MapInfo/ or

AutoCAD

l. Ability to provide support, information and project details as requested by various

departments

m. Experience on filed survey validation.

n. Preparation of plan and design document against RFP, RFI & Customer Need

o. Experience in creation of Bill of Material (BOM) & Bill of Quantity (BOQ) and all other

project documentation

p. Experience in service Quality management

q. Excellent communications skills in verbal, written and presentation forms

r. Significant, proven and demonstratable cellular wireless industry experience

s. Highly proficient listener & consultative sales style with the ability to shape customer

thinking

t. Strong Team & Customer Management Skills

Good-to-Have

a. Creative approach for Automation Modules of Network P&D & Operation.

b. Previous experience of working with Global client (USA/EU/ANZ) for Telecom Plan &

Design
