Sr. Technical Recruiter

Delpath is a Canadian IT Staffing firm focused on delivering the best technical talent for our clients located in Canada & United States. Our recruitment team is looking to hire an experienced IT Recruiter.

This job is fully remote and requires the candidate to have a Private & Independent space to work from everyday without any disturbances. Candidate will be required to join video meetings throughout the day, everyday.

The successful candidate will be comfortable with independently sourcing candidates, conduct technical screening and provide a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles daily. They will also continuously build a pipeline of talented IT candidates through various channels. All necessary user licenses will be provided to the users including Linkedin Professional, Monster, Indeed, & our Internal ATS.

The candidate must be comfortable working Canadian Time Zone (Easter Standard Time). Additionally, you will be required to have a quiet & private space to work from during work hours and attend video meetings throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities:

Review job postings carefully & ask questions to help find the right candidates for each job.

Understand all IT or Technical needs in our job postings, to successfully match the appropriate candidates with their technical skills.

Source candidates from various channels including LinkedIn, online resume database(s) including Monster/Indeed, Conferences, Networking, employee referrals and other avenues.

Develop recruiting strategies that meet anticipated staffing needs.

Build a pipeline of candidates on a recurring basis.

Manage the entire hiring life cycle

Including:

Receiving & clarifying Job Order.

Sourcing & THROUGHLY Screening candidates both Technical & Behavioral.

Complete candidate skills matrix & create submission for client.

Validate candidate’s technical skill set.

Negotiating the best possible rate.

Obtain right to represent for Job Order.

Rank and submit the top candidate(s) to MSP or Client.

Prepare candidate for interview and schedule interviews.

Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring life cycle * Performing background and reference checks.

Conduct thorough screening (video calls) and interview preparation calls.

Keeping track of all active Job Orders and applicants.

Support the on-boarding of new hires.

Your Qualifications & Experience:

Experience as a Technical IT Recruiter hiring IT professionals.

Experience finding candidates through different tools such as: Applicant Tracking Systems, Linkedin, Monster, Job Boards, social media.

Expert level knowledge in all full life cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, wage & salary trends, relationship management and due diligence.

Demonstrated achievement in sourcing and recruiting for hard-to-find resources.

Negotiation and sales/persuasion skills experience.

Recruitment experience for a broad & deep range of IT roles.

Possess the interest and ability to understand the technology and to keep abreast of technology trends.

Ability & interest in building long-lasting working relationships.

Proficiency with tools including MS Office, G-Suite.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
