Senior Consultant, Business Consulting – CIO Advisory Infrastructure Strategy

Location- PAN India

Infosys Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant for their CIO Advisory practice.

Candidate must be an experienced IT professional/consultant with the requisite domain acumen and delivery proficiency to help clients achieve business success. Candidate must be adept with and at least knowledgeable of multiple IT service offerings with the experience to deliver and achieve defined project outcomes. Candidates must be comfortable working at all levels (team, stakeholder, and organizational leadership) to help the organization define and deliver IT solutions and processes as part of an integrated strategy.

As a Senior Consultant, you will:

Provide strategic and technical advice to the CIO and other senior IT leaders on infrastructure topics, such as architecture, design, deployment, operations, and security.

Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies and roadmaps that align with the organization's goals.

Assess existing infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.

Design, implement, and optimize IT service management processes and frameworks. This involves defining ITIL-based processes such as incident management, problem management, change management, and service catalog management.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as business users, IT operations, and cloud providers.

Stay up-to-date on infrastructure trends and best practices.

Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years consulting/and or industry experience or an MBA with 2+ years relevant work experience

A strong understanding of ITIL processes, methodologies, and best practices is highly valued in this role.

Familiarity with ITIL service management areas such as incident management, problem management, change management, and service-level management is essential.

Excellent articulation, communication, and strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

M.B.A. or equivalent advanced degree

Big 4 consulting or equivalent experience

Practical experience in managing and supporting IT infrastructure.

Certifications in Industry-standard certifications such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundation, ITIL Practitioner, COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies), and ISO 20000 can enhance your credibility and demonstrate your expertise.

Strong problem-solving skills: ability to determine proper course or methodology with minimal direction or supervision.

Ability to produce clear, concise, relevant, and accurate recommendations based on information gathered from stakeholders and subject matter experts

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
