Team Description (E&S) :

The Education and Skill Development practice of KPMG in India comprise a team of experience professional who deliver forward-looking advisory services across the spectrum such as K-12 education including early childhood care and education (ECCE), foundation literacy and numeracy skills, technical and vocational education, and training (TVET), higher education, education technology and supplementary education. The team has delivered multiple engagement in the past catering to a wide range of clients from the central and state governments, regulators, public and private educational institutions, corporates, not for profit organizations etc. The team has worked on the ground across Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa – apart from India.

About the role :

We are currently seeking candidates for 3 open positions in our G&PS – E&S team which will be based out of New Delhi. The individuals will perform a range of activities including project management, strategic planning, needs analysis, outlining collaterals and multi-stakeholder management to drive desired outcomes in the programs implemented by KPMG.

Responsibilities:

1. Support central/state government in strategizing and designing roadmaps to achieve project

outcomes

2. Support and manage project implementation goals across different thematic areas as prescribed

in project scope

3. Conduct regular update meetings internally and externally with organizational and government

leadership and document progress towards program goals

4. Liaise with multiple system stakeholders to ensure regular monitoring and tracking of progress

5. Create timely (fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, annual) project status and impact reports for

relevant stakeholders in the programs

6. Visit states, project sites, training workshops, etc to oversee implementation of programs

Qualifications and Experience

1. Graduate/ Post-Graduate in economics/management /statistics/or social sciences

2. Minimum 3 complete years of experience, of which at least 2-years’ complete experience working

in the school education sector on at least one core aspect: early childhood education.

3. Prior experience of working with state or district government in leading large-scale

transformational programs is preferred

4. Strong interpersonal and networking skills

5. Fluency in written and spoken English and Hindi

6. Excellent working knowledge of web-platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe suite, Canva etc.
