Technical Responsibilities:
Evaluation of Fire & Gas Detection System, Active & Passive Fire Protection System
Participation in Design Safety Reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Plot Plan/Layout Review
Co-ordination & Selection of external third party agencies for various studies such as Risk Assessment (QRA, FERA, Air Dispersion Analysis, F&G 3D Mapping, Human Factor Engineering / Ergonomic Study, PHSER, RAM Study, Flare Radiation Study) during execution and review of final report. Inquiry requisition & TBE preparation, Assumption Register review and Report closure etc.
Review of equipment layout / 3D model and provide inputs from HSE perspective (Escape routes, safety shower/ eyewash locations, F&G Detector location)
Review / Preparation of Process HSE Design documents:
HSE Plan
HSE Design Philosophy including Loss Prevention and Process Safety requirements
Hazardous Area Classification Schedule & Layout
Fire proofing Schedule & Layout
Datasheet preparation for Safety Equipment (Breathing apparatus, Safety Shower & Eyewash units, Windsocks) & Procurement related activities
Specific Requirements for the Position:
Experience in Chlor Alkali (CA), Ethylene Dichloride & Vinyl Chloride (EDC VCM), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) would be an added advantage.
Conversant with various Process Safety related International Codes & Standards like IEC, API, NFPA, IBC, EI 15, etc.
Experience with SHELL DEP or ADNOC Standards would be an added advantage.
Qualification: BE Chemical
Experience: 8 to 15 years of experience in HSE / Process Safety Design
