Position Summary

Exciting opportunity for a Machinist / CNC Operator - Production Department located in North Goa.

This position works closely with the Design, Production & Engineering Teams and is responsible for completion of furniture items.

Should able to study & understand furniture Manufacturing Operation sheet (MOS) / Setup sheet, Control plan, Quality plan, SOP, Special work instructions, Routing etc.

Responsibilities

Set-up, manage and operate independently 5 axis CNC machine to perform board and wood work including drilling, grinding.

Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.

Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.

Ensure production goals are met within specified timelines

Adhere to safety and quality standards in all operations

Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.

Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.

Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.

Ensure that results of the machining process align with client expectations.

Conduct regular CNC machine assessments.

Requirements/Experience

Mechanical/Engineering diploma or equivalent qualification required.

Proven experience of 3 years as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment

Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.

Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.

Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good computer and mathematical skills.

Proficiency in CAD/CAM

Knowledge of Spazio 3D and Studio softwares a bonus

Proficiency in English spoken and written

Location: Verla Canca, near Mapusa, North Goa. Having your own vehicle is a must

Working hours: day shift 9am-6pm Mon-Sat, with option to extend hours and to Sundays.
