Key Areas of Accountability
Testing & Commissioning plan & activities
Coordinate with Testing and Commissioning consultants to develop T&C plan for each site.
Verify the system’s performance, including establishing acceptance criteria, obtaining completed reports, performing verification and spot checking for validation
Assist in as-built documentation and review for accuracy and completeness
Communicate commissioning issues, questions and concerns through proper channels in a timely manner.
Factory, Field level testing & Integrated System testing:
Plan, coordinate and participates in FAT, SAT and 7 level integrated system testing activities as per the customer requirement and work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of MEP systems.
Develop project specific commissioning schedule and plans. Conduct commissioning coordination meetings as needed with project management, control, balance, and startup representatives
Review system specific test scripts and sequences of operations. complete and legible commissioning documentation in alignment with global standards and policies.
High performance & High availability designs
Optimize electrical losses and provide best in class PUE for the data center.
Track commissioning issues until resolved and closed
Medium and low voltage power systems
Generators
UPS
HVAC
Chilled Water Systems
Building Management systems (BMS)
Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
Testing and balancing
Pumps and Hydronic systems
Design & Engineering
Understand the design concept and intent by reviewing mechanical or electrical construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, vendor submittals and sequences of operations
Provide recommendations and feedback regarding the design, equipment selection, pre-functional checklists, startup and functional test scripts developed by others, maintainability and constructability enhancements
Review documentation for compliance with respect to industry standards, and design specifications
· Assess the capability of commissioned systems to match the design intent
Quality Assurance
Commissioning team understands, evaluates, defines and manages the expectations of construction quality in accordance to engineering designs to meet the customer requirements. Work with internal and external teams to assure testing equipment is calibrated
