Job Title: Associate Solution Architect / Solution Architect (Bid Management)

Role and Responsibilities

Act as the central point of contact on assigned proposals and guide the work of the Global Technical Bids and Proposals team.

You will need to understand in detail the needs and requirements of the purchaser.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing technical solution offerings and preparing the technical bid documents along with cost estimates.

You will work in close cooperation with the delivery, engineering, SCM and support departments to define optimum solutions to be offered to our customers worldwide.

Own the proposal preparation process for each specific opportunity that he/she works on, including being the primary owner and creator of every proposal or response to RFx (e.g., RFI/RFP/RFQ, etc.) or tender.

Generate technical bid documents (Technical proposal, Pricing, Bill of Quantities, compliances, etc)

As part of Bid Compliance team to ensure complete compliance with required process and metrics being met/adhered to.

You will be working together with sales team in presenting the technical solutions to our customers during bid defense stage.

Assist to maintain, augment, and improve the library of reusable components, templates, and processes to reduce response time and improve the quality of future bids.

Technical Skills

Require a combination of knowledge and skills acrossa combination of the following areas

Excellent understanding of telecom revenue assurance and fraud domain along with GSMA and TM forum standards,

Understanding of Revenue Assurance, Business intelligence, Risk management in telecom

Fraud management and security in CSP’s

Telecoms network architecture understanding (Core / Signaling / Charging / Billing),

Experience in solution design in a RAFM Environment, preferably working experience of RAFM tools (Neural Technologies/Subex/WeDo Technologies, etc.)

Hands-on experience in identifying various telecom frauds with the help of FM tool and out of the box fraud detection techniques/analysis,

Hands-on experience in identifying various telecom risks and revenue leakages with the help of RA tool and out of the box KPI validations /analysis,

Design business requirements for RA and FM control enhancements

Experience in the use of Machine Learning, RPA techniques and automation is advantageous

Understanding of software systems and architecture (preferably in the context of telecommunication systems); standard COTS hardware (servers, storage, switches, etc.) and exposure to software development, will be a huge plus

Soft Skills

Must have worked with prospects, customers and partners in a proactive, high-energy and self- motivated culture that is driven by a very strong will to win

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Must possess good presentation skills, and ability to “whiteboard” concepts during discussions

Must be able communicate effectively and proactively using email, phone, chat/IM tools etc.

Ability to collaborate and work with a globally distributed organization, as part of virtual, multi-functional teams

Must be willing to travel both internationally and locally (at least 20% to 30%)

Imagination and curiosity, as well as rigor and discipline (stick to deadlines)

Strong multi-tasking skills - must be organized and prioritize activities quickly and effectively.

Must be a self-starter and take the initiative to get things done!

Must be proficient in written and spoken English.

Experience and Qualifications

Must have a proven track record of success in Technical bid management role

At least 5+ years of total experience of which 1-3 years’ experience in in various bid management/technical pre-sales positions

Should have experience in working with geographically distributed virtual team

A degree in Engineering or CS preferred

Specialization in Bid management/pre-sales is desirable.
