3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Manager- Finance, the Assistant Manager – Finance (AMF) shall be responsible for reviewing GL accounting, banking and vendor management including monthly review of vendor ageing of six state locations (Patna, Odisha, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Assam and West Bengal) including ensure month end closure on time for all six state locations.

Key Job Responsibilities:

(1) Effective employee Induction and ensure timely reimbursement of expenses;

(2) Support in closure of Statutory and Internal Audit for all of these state locations and annual budgeting process to PIU Leads and contribution in budgeting of new grants;

(3) Adequate ledger scrutiny and documentation, before month closure, reconciliations and cost reliving;

(4) Review trackers and muster rolls/ proofs on distributable materials and upload the same to compliance folder;

(5) Ensure submission of monthly FAR report, If there is no movement done during the month, NIL report to be submitted;

(6) Physical verification of state offices Fixed Assets (sale/ disposal);

(7) Review of SRF/ CRF / Procurement documents;

(9) Coordinate with Central SPOC on grant audits;

(10) Circulation of BvA for all open grants with respective PC/AM, State Head, Hub Finance and NSO grants SPOC with comments on major variances;

(11) Regular review of state dashboard, including exchange rate gain/loss of each grant

(12) Prepare a cost allocation sheet for all Fixed costs and review the same after close of every month;

(13) Review Partner agreement for legal compliance and identify deliverables; Share deliverable checklist during PNGO Onboarding;

(14) Partner assessment and selection as per PECB manual, project rollout;

(15) Identify capacity-building needs and plan necessary training;

(16) Partner accounting including monthly LI posting, Quarterly reconciliation and seeking Balance confirmation;

(17) Circulation of PNGO Visit / Review, ATR and compliance report;

(18) Obtain scanned vouchers and review of documents received from partners and share the same with HO. The audit reports, and annual returns for the closed partners to be collected;

(19) Ensure adherence to state office compliances (PT, TDS); Ensure generation and issuance of Form 16A to all the vendors on a quarterly basis.

(20) Track partner compliances such as PF, PT, TDS, FCRA, IT, Society/ Trust and ensure compliance of SGA and partner agreement (checklist components);

(21) Coordination with all three subordinates for their concerns and requirements pertaining to their respective locations;

(22) Other miscellaneous task as per the requirement.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualification:

Applicants should be an MBA Finance/ CA intermediate/ CMA Intermediate from a recognized institute.

Experience:

(1) Minimum experience of 5 Years in the finance profile including Accounts Payable profile

Essential Skills and Competencies

(1) Must have proficiency in working on MS Excel, Shortcuts of key formulas etc., knowledge of financial management accounting system;

(2) Must be an expert in email writing and other communication skills;

(3) Must be competent to manage a team of 3-4 people remotely;

(4) Must be comfortable with travel to the locations allocated to him/ her;

(5) Must have knowledge about Fund Management, Reporting & MIS

(6) Must be aware of grant budget uploading in accounting software

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
