Associate, Financial Modelling, Private Equity

Our team leads all strategic financial modelling across Amherst, capital raising, investor relationships and diligence responses, and transaction execution and documentation

Create and maintain financial models and underwriting, including cash flow projections, fund-level waterfalls and IRR calculations, DCF and NPV valuations, sum-of-the parts analyses

Prepare presentations and marketing materials, including pitches, responses to diligence requests, and various modelling exercise outputs for investors, senior executives, and Board of Directors

Collaborate with the team and groups across the organization to generate new ideas, advance existing initiatives, and assist with special projects on an as-needed basis

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree and MBA / CA / CFA with financial markets understanding a plus.

Experience (4-6 years): prior experience in banking, financial Services and / or real estate firm preferred. Highly analytical mindset.

Technical: Intermediate-advanced skills in MS Office Excel and PowerPoint.

System: Prior experience in using Yardi, Tableau, and SQL preferred.

Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must react quickly to requests with a sense of urgency.
