About the Role:

As a Spice Blending R&D Intern, you'll delve into the exciting world of developing innovative and delicious spice blends using organic ingredients. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in our R&D team to learn the science and art of spice blending, from sourcing high-quality organic spices to crafting exceptional flavor combinations.

Responsibilities:

Assist with researching and identifying new organic spices for potential blends.

Learn about different spice characteristics, flavor profiles, and culinary applications.

Participate in the development of new spice blend prototypes.

Conduct sensory evaluation of spice blends to assess taste, aroma, and overall quality.

Assist with recipe development using DeHaat's organic spice blends.

Document spice blend formulations and production processes.

Stay up-to-date on current trends and innovations in the spice industry.

Qualifications:

Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Agriculture, or a related field (or a diploma in a relevant field).

Strong interest in spices, herbs, and their role in creating delicious food.

A well-developed sense of taste and smell.

Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols meticulously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
