Job description:
Prospect, acquire and maintain relationships with Corporate Clients (Medium/Large) and develop relationships with Insurance companies.
Maintain an effective network within the business community and industry.
Ease of technical discussions with CEO/ CFO of the companies and Insurers.
Develop, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with top accounts; key client decision - makers and maintain service levels all along
Sales of various General Insurance Products and Solutions to Small/Mid-size companies and its owner/promoters.
Recruit and build Sales teams to expand market footprint in South India
Stay abreast of emerging lines such as Cybercrime, EVs, and other Liability policies
Update knowledge by participating in IRDA programs, up to date on professional publications, participating in professional organizations and attending training programs.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Understanding the prospect/client's business and risk exposures. Conducting Insurance Program reviews and identifying gaps.
Assisting the prospect/client in filling up detailed risk questionnaires and explaining coverage terms to them.
Oversee proposal forms and negotiate terms and conditions to meet the clients requirements, wherever necessary
Meet prospect/client with the recommendation of cover, cross-verification of the policy terms and conditions.
Work with Service Delivery Team to ensure timely endorsement issuance, report issuance, and advocating on behalf of the client at the time of claim or any other requirements.
Understand, collaborate and contribute in all process and technology initiatives of the company.
Work as a capable team leader and strive to build the competencies of the team in line with company requirements
Have and also build strong and fruitful working relationships with insurance companies and senior and middle management levels.
Knowledge:
To study and analyse an insurance contracts, summarize coverage, and advise its suitability to a client
Understanding of client's industry and develop marketing plans across verticals (property, liability, employee benefits insurance programs, and specialty lines).
The candidate should have/ be prepared to, complete the IRDA-mandated broker training and have /Should have passed the Indian Insurance Certification examination
Qualified insurance examination at Associate or Fellowship Level.
International certification from London Institute will be an added advantage.
