ROLE

The role is to create, develop, and maintain relationships with our clients’ hiring communities and senior sponsors, underpinning them with the delivery of a best-in-class recruitment service. The post holder will work with either a key client or a portfolio of smaller clients and use a brand-led approach to help them get the best from their resources and processes and recruit into various positions.

The role involves multiple external (HR, Internal Recruiters, and Hiring Managers) and internal stakeholders, so the role requires strong relationship management expertise projecting credibility and confidence to stakeholders at various levels.

Great delivery for the client will involve proactively identifying opportunities for service improvement and solving delivery issues through expertise and relationship management; whilst ensuring the successful adoption of the RPO on both TrueBlue and the client side.

The post holder will be the face of the service to the client while providing leadership across TrueBlue delivery teams of Recruiters and Coordinators based across our delivery network so travel to and time spent at other offices in addition to client sites will be necessary.

The Recruitment Operations Manager will also cover resource management to ensure that the right people are allocated to the right projects. Planning and scheduling current and future workloads will also be a key element to focus on.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

We work in a matrix environment and the job holder will either directly or indirectly lead, develop, and motivate the team of Recruiters, coordinators, and first-line managers.

Core

Be a leading partner by building great relationships with clients/hiring managers and creative advocacy with clients by delivering exceptional service

Create and maintain new relationships with client decision-makers

Support the sales process by reviewing leads, and using your expertise to influence fit-for-purpose solutions that are being proposed and taken up by current and new clients

Agree on commercial objectives with account leaders to support YOY client growth. Client revenues should grow by at least 15% year on year

Work with client relationship and delivery leaders to create and execute against operational client hiring plans

Recognize client needs and recommend solutions in person, through formal presentations and using written proposals

Ensure the client is gaining value for money from services provided by TrueBlue

Ensure there is a clear understanding of customer/client project expectations, designing and implementing solutions to deliver a high-quality service

Ensure you, the TrueBlue team, and hiring managers are building relationships and maintaining regular contact with candidates to ensure that candidates convert into hires

Develop your and your client’s understanding of TrueBlue’s broader talent solutions Offer (technology, marketing, specialist, and volume recruitment). Help clients access these services (upsell)

Support TrueBlue commercial teams in accurate revenue forecasts

Ensure client and PeopleScout processes and systems used are accurately followed and are fit for purpose, are compliant, and drive maximum efficiency.

Understand the commercial performance of the business and ensure client delivery is appropriately charged for and contributing to profit

Ensure you and the team maintain activity reports that accurately reflect the status of the client projects/requisitions and that success is shared across the wider business

Attend client meetings, reviews, and pitches to support sales and delivery reviews

People Management

Develop recruitment delivery capability and create a high-performing team through direct or indirect team management, ensuring ongoing performance discussions and annual performance reviews take place, with individual objectives aligned with business priorities.

Ensure employee performance and development are managed in line with performance management policies and procedures, recognizing and rewarding strong performance and taking appropriate actions to address capability or conduct concerns.

Regular review and maintain resource plans to make sure your operational team is utilized; holidays and absences are planned around delivery considerations and resource requests are made in time to deliver against client requirements

Motivate and engage your team members, driving growth and development through regular feedback, 121’s, and objective setting, aligning objectives to business goals and individually appropriate development areas

Ensure business-aligned results from your team by clearly communicating role expectations and then planning, monitoring, and appraising the results.

Take personal responsibility to engage with available resources and stakeholders, providing well-thought recommendations to your team members in support of reaching their goals or addressing people-related matters

Take a proactive approach to performance management, addressing poor performance in line with the relevant company policies and procedures, ensuring recognition/reward for strong performance.

Skills, Qualifications & Competence Level

Qualifications/Education Required

Essential:10+ years’ experience working in a lead recruitment delivery or Account Manager Role, ideally within the RPO environment

Graduation & above

Experience Required

Essential: Experience working in a recruitment environment

Experience in building and maintaining productive commercial relationships with partner organizations.

Successfully led and delivered significant recruitment projects (multiple stakeholders/volumes of vacancies/significant project value)

Has managed the hiring managers/clients during a recruitment process (i.e. taking vacancy briefings)

Has managed multiple and varying recruitment processes; from intake to candidate hire

Has been responsible for the work of others.

Has created presentations and documents to outline the scope of services for stakeholders (such as quarterly business reviews)

Understanding of employment legislation and recruitment best practices.

Experience in preparing reports and statistics on recruitment activities.

Understanding of CRM & ATS systems

Desirable:

Knowledge and awareness of a range of sourcing technologies and platforms.

Leadership of people in a proactive recruitment environment.

Specialist sector knowledge (e.g. public sector, finance, engineering, manufacturing, IT).

Understanding of and interest in emerging recruitment technology

Experience in Recruitment Communications/Marketing (such as Employer Branding, recruitment technology such as websites/portals and media planning)

Particular Aptitude/Skill Required

Essential:

Demonstrable client relationship-building skills (demonstrated through the longevity of contracts, nature of ongoing relationships, and quality of service)

Demonstrate having provided effective recruitment solutions.

Demonstrate strong people management including leadership, positive influencing, goal setting, and performance management.

Excellent organization and planning skills with a structured client delivery approach including planning and prioritization.

Cultural awareness including the ability to work within the matrix model and to build business-critical relationships with delivery teams across PeopleScout.

Ability to be self-managed and work independently.

Ability to understand and analyze data relating to recruitment programs and people’s performance

Desirable

Strong emotional intelligence including listening, empathy, and self-awareness

Negotiation/Presenting to persuade

Copywriting skills for presentations/proposals

Adaptable to the use of innovative recruitment technology
