STRATEGY TEAM ASSOCIATE RENEWABLES AT GLOBAL FINTECH FIRM

Base Salary is $110K to $135K (based upon candidate and experience)

Solidly established spin-off from a Global FinTech Firm is looking for an experienced, resourceful individual to join its Strategy Team as an Associate. In this role, you will be part of a highly skilled team and help augment investing and business development efforts in the renewable energy space.

We work in a hybrid model where employees are in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelor's Degree required.

At least Two to Five (2-5) years of experience, including experience in Financial Modeling and Project Finance Transactions.

Experience in Renewable Energy Space is strongly preferred, but not required.

Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

Ability to Collaborate well with a Small Team.

Proven Organizational Acumen when working on multiple projects.

High level of Motivation and Initiative are all vital to this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW

You will be responsible for building and reviewing financial models to support management investment decisions for mergers and acquisitions or power market origination, with a focus on modeling project returns, optimizing capital structure, identifying risks and potential upside, and presenting analytical findings in a clear and concise manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading due diligence and managing third-party deliverables through deal processes. You will also support transaction leads on negotiating definitive documentation for M&A, PPA origination, asset dispositions, or bespoke financing products across both new projects and the firm's existing portfolio of projects in development, under construction, or in operation.
