IT OT Deskside Technician

Job Description

Summary: Seeking an IT/OT Deskside Technician for onsite support in a manufacturing environment, addressing PC hardware/software issues and providing high-quality customer service.

Qualifications/Duties:

Provide deskside support to end users, collaborating with a service desk and customer IT support team.

Resolve support requests with a focus on timely and quality customer service.

Tech-savvy individual who adapts quickly to new technology.

Support within a manufacturing setting, including troubleshooting standard PC hardware and software.

Skills Needed:

Deskside support experience with basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, printing, networking, and file shares.

Proficient in resolving Windows 10 Operating System issues.

Proficient in the latest Microsoft Office Applications (Office 365).

Experience with ITSM ticketing tools such as Remedy or Service Now.

Printer and scanner support across various brands and types.

Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and computer asset tracking.

Experience with user ID creation and network phone (VoIP) system support/administration.

Knowledge of Symantec Virus Scan software and ability to work across multiple platforms/devices.

Researching skills to resolve technical issues with the knowledge of when to escalate for assistance.

Physical ability to walk, bend, connect computer equipment, and lift up to 50 lbs. of electronic equipment as needed.

Compliance with central compliance group activities.

Schedule:

40 hours per week, 8 hours per day on the 1st shift over a 5-day work week.

Flexibility to do overtime or off-hour work as required.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
