Job Title: Purchase and Sales Specialist
Location: Inglewood, fully onsite
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sales Support Responsibilities:
Provide assistance and support to the sales team by promptly addressing customer inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining sales-related databases.
Play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless sales operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Purchase Order Management:
Acquire expertise in generating part numbers and descriptions for products.
Input information into GP (Great Plains) and issue purchase orders to vendors within a 24-hour timeframe.
Efficiently track, document, and organize product samples received from vendors, competitors, and customers.
Produce a weekly report on sales samples sent to customers, ensuring prompt follow-up by the sales team.
Traffic Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries concerning shipping schedules and container arrivals.
Sales and GP Maintenance:
Issue sales orders, back orders, and shipping orders on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Bookkeeping Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors.
Support in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Operations Responsibilities:
Report Generation and Analysis:
Leverage GP data to extract, analyze, and present reports offering valuable insights for decision-making.
Amend existing SQL reports and develop new ones to address evolving operational needs.
Products Responsibilities:
Standardization of Product Information:
Collaborate with the Design team to standardize the style of product information and specification/data sheets for all company products.
Documentation Copy Editing:
Review and rectify grammatical and spelling errors in documentations from Asia, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using ERP systems, especially Great Plains (GP).
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
