Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the research pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and providing excellent customer service to patients.

Day to Day:

Practices as a pharmacy technician in accordance with all federal, state, and Joint Commission policies, regulations and standards.

Fills medication orders according to policy, while gaining proficiency with advanced preparations.

Ensures timely completion of medication orders and/or supplies.

Utilizes multiple systems such as EHR (Electronic Health Record, Inventory Management Systems and other clinical research systems to complete and document duties.

Maintains the Pharmacy inventory: sorting, stocking, rotation of stock, expiration date managing, and cycle counting

Performs cleaning of sterile and non-sterile areas of the pharmacy as assigned.

Participates in department meetings and functions to promote a successful and efficient pharmacy workgroup.

Schedule:

9-5pm or 8-4pm

Monday - Friday

No weekends, on call, holiday
