About the role:

As the Learning and Development Manager for our collections team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our collections agents.

Job Responsibilities:

Partner with the collections team lead to assess training needs and develop learning objectives that support business goals and compliance standards.

Design and implement tailored learning programs for collections agents, including new hire training, ongoing skill development, and compliance training specific to debt collection regulations in Australia.

Utilize a variety of training methodologies, including classroom training, e-learning modules, workshops, and simulations, to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

Develop and maintain training materials, resources, and curriculum content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and compliance with industry regulations.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Monitor industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to debt collection and incorporate relevant updates into training materials and programs.

Partner with HR to track training completion, maintain training records, and identify opportunities for individual development and career advancement within the collections department.

Qualifications:

At least 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in a collections or financial services environment.

Strong understanding of Australian debt collection regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery, using various learning methods and technologies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.

Passion for learning and development with a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee growth.
