Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team! You will be responsible for compliance with AS13100, creating work instructions, and performing process capability studies and internal audits.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain work instructions for operators and prepare data cards for approval by Tier 1 customers.

Create FMEAs.

Coordinate with Quality Manager on compliance audits (ISO, AS, Nadcap, etc.).

Create and perform process capability studies.

Monitor Quality KPIs

APQP

Qualifications:

Technical degree and one year of functional experience or three years’ experience as a Quality Engineer.

Previous experience in Nadcap or similar (IATF) audits.

Previous experience with ISO 9001/AS 9100.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

High competency with Microsoft software, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Deadline and detail oriented.

Additional Considerations

Experience with AS 13100.

ISO9001 or AS9100 Lead Auditor certification a plus.

Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

Experience with quoting prices.Company Description
