IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an upbeat, focused, high-energy individual to join our Inside Sales team.

You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers.

We are looking for a self-starter that will support our rapidly growing global customer base.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING * Lead follow up for transactional sales and data input for processing * Conduct cold outbound calls and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate IXL's value proposition to new global users and to identify their requirements for the sales team * Ensure the timely processing of leads and assist with and support sales campaigns * Identify growth opportunities for the sales teams to ensure growth attainment * Conduct web application product demonstrations virtually using screen share technology WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * BA/BS degree * 1 year of customer service, inside sales or education experience, preferably within the ed-tech or software industry.

* A high level of self-motivation, energy, and drive to succeed * Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively * Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs * Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail * Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills * Excellent verbal (telephone) and written communications skills * Understanding of web applications * Ability to accommodate various global time zones is a plus * Salesforce.com experience is a plus
