West Hills Animal Hospital is looking to hire experienced people who love furry friends just as much as we do.

This practice is a 24-hour location with a lot going on throughout the day as well as the night. As a family practice, we like to treat each patient as if they are our own. Not only will you build relationships with the animals, but also be able to build relationships with our clients!

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Able to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Be comfortable with handling animals of all species' and sizes

Knowledge of different animal medications

Build relationships with clients and peers

Have good computer skills

Tackling projects as assigned (with a smile, as always!)

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

High school diploma or GED required

Preferred have at least 1 year of veterinary medicine experience

Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, veterinarians, and other hospital staff. (It's okay if you talk to animals, too!)

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and move freely for extended periods of time

Must be able to lift 50 squirming pounds

Must be able to work in a veterinary environment with exposure to infection or contagious diseases
