Description:

The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology, seeks an instructor with demonstrated potential to do computational modeling for drug discovery. A background in developmental biology is preferable but not necessary. Candidates should hold an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree. Successful candidates will demonstrate objective evidence of productivity in terms of first-author publications. Excellent leadership and communication skills are required to function as part of a collaborative research team as well as the candidate’s independent research program. The position will also have medical student, graduate student, and/or fellow teaching responsibilities.

Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
